This Certificate was produced for the BJ Ball Letterpress Workshops held in 2021.
A co-lab project between Inkiana Press and Laserfoil, it incorporates three print methods laid down in the following order: Digital CMYK, Hot Stamp Foiling, Letterpress.
The Letterpress component was designed as a layout guide only. The workshop attendees then practised their newly learned skills to re-composite this using pre-existing hot type characters and metal rules. They then printed their certificate in straight black on a 188 year old Albion Press.
The certificate won a Gold at the 2022 Pride in Print awards.
